Update: Water service interruption 
Mathis Residents: Water services will be temporarily interrupted.
The utility department needs to shut down water service pumping into town in order to build up water in the storage tanks at the plant. Water service will shut down at midnight and will be turned back on at 5 a.m. due to a suspected leak interrupting services.
