Energy Emergency Alert Level 1

Going into this evening, the SPP has called an Energy Emergency Alert Level 1. All available generation resources are committed to electricity demand for the region.
Please help conserve electricity by:
-Alternating use of the dryer, dishwasher, and oven
-Lowering thermostat setting 1-2 degrees
-Minimizing the use of non-essential appliances
By working together in our conservation efforts, we can help reduce the demand for electricity and lessen the chance of emergency action such as rolling blackouts.
