Residents in those groups, as well as those 65 and older can sign up to access state and federal sites through myturn.ca.gov or calling 1-833-422-4255. More information on the county’s COVID-19 response can be found at www.cchealth.org/coronavirus.
County Library Launches Wi-Fi Hotspot Lending
As a means of helping students and workers struggling with the challenge of remote work or distance learning, the Contra Costa County Library is offering Wi-Fi hotspots for checkout. The hotspots would allow users to connect up to 10 of their devices to the internet for use for work or school.
Patrons must have a valid library card in order to check out a hotspot. The lending period is 21 days, and hotspots can be renewed as long as there is no waitlist. To check out a hotspot, go to www.ccclib.org or contact staff at any community library.
