The Cloquet Police Department is aware of a Public Safety Alert that went out through the Emergency Safety Alert system.
The area in question is outside of our jurisdiction and covered by the Carlton County Sheriff's Office and the Fond du Lac Police Department.
We do not have specific details regarding the alert, but some suspicious activity triggered the advisory. We're advising people to stay away from the area(s) mentioned in the alert.
The affected areas are between Cary/Enger Roads and Mission Road and north of Big Lake Road.
