LOCATION: Redlands Boulevard /Coloma Street, Loma Linda, CA
SUSPECT(S): Martin Ramos, age 44, resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On Saturday, February 20, 2021, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Deputy Torres from the Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Martin Ramos for a California Vehicle Code violation in the area of Redlands Blvd. and Coloma St. Torres contacted the driver, Ramos and asked him to exit the vehicle. During a patdown search of Ramos, Torres located a loaded .22 caliber handgun on Ramos' waistband. During a search of the vehicle, Torres located approximately 11 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a scale, and $140.00.
Ramos was arrested and was booked at Central Detention Center for possession of a firearm, possession of controlled substance while armed, and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
