At about 1:15 AM this morning, February 22, 2021, Lakeport Police Officers responded to the 800 block of 16th street to investigate the report of several shots being fired into a house from a vehicle described as a dark colored sedan. No persons inside of the residence were injured as a result of the shooting. This investigation has been ongoing throughout the morning and at this time we do not believe this is a random event. We are seeking any information the public may have about this incident.
