Trash Service Update (02-22-21, 6:00 p.m.)
Residents Please Move Carts to Curb

Republic Services will be serving Cushing tomorrow with four (4) trucks. Today they served those on the typical Monday route. If your trash was not collected today, please move your cart to the curb tonight. If you have extra trash, please place it beside the dumpster for collection.

For our rural customers, serving you will be on a case by case basis since road conditions in the rural areas may make it difficult to traverse with the large trucks. Our territory truck got stuck today trying to serve some of the rural customers. We have asked Republic to make all of our service territory a top priority for service. We will provide service updates for the rural customers as we receive them for Republic.
Staff has been working with Republic representatives since last week, in the middle of the unprecedented winter storm, to get our trash service on track once the storm was over. Republic will work as hard as they can to get all our customers back on track.

In closing, we apologize for the service delays weather has caused. Given all the community has experienced over the last week, we are fortunate to have this issue to contend with. Thank you for your patients and support.
