02/15/2021 @ 0556. A man used an unlocked gate to gain entry to the apartment complex lobby and pried a wall of resident mail boxes open and removed mail. #00660

02/15/2021 @ 1250. A man was pushing a cart filled with packages when two men approached and demanded the victim’s packages. The victim complied. #00644
Vehicle Burglary
900 block N Gardner Avenue
02/15/2021 @ 1900-0700. An unknown suspect ransacked the glove box and removed a binder containing $400 cash and a savings bond from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. #00655

02/17/2021 @ 2301. A man removed an unsecured electric bicycle and attempted to ride it away. The bikes owner chased after the suspect and recovered the bike. #00684

02/17/2021 @ 1630-2130. An unknown suspect used an unlocked door to gain entry and removed two backpacks containing two laptop computers, two hard drives, and a checkbook from the bedroom closet. #00693

02/17/2021 @ 2000-1100. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed sunglasses from the center console and one pair of shoes from the interior. No sign of forced entry. #00692

02/18/2021 @ 2125. A man tried to kick the door open to gain entry but was unsuccessful. #00698

Aggravated Assault - Knife
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
02/19/2021 @ 2220. A man pulled a knife from his waistband and threatened to stab a security guard after being asked to leave the area. #00715
Strong Arm Robbery
7900 block Santa Monica Blvd
02/19/2021 @ 0530. A man was organizing his personal belongings on the second floor of the parking structure when another man approached him and demanded his backpack. The suspect punched the victim several times, took the backpack, and then fled the area on foot. #00713

Aggravated Assault - Knife
Fountain Avenue / La Brea Avenue
02/20/2021 @ 1924. A man was stabbed in the torso by the suspect during an argument that took place on the sidewalk. The victim was transported to the hospital. #00729
