At the end of a pursuit a 17yr old male was arrested and booked into the Central Valley Juvenile Detention Center

SUSPECT(S): 17-yr-old Male Juvenile
SUMMARY: On Thursday, February 24, 2021, at 11:07 am, Deputy Stuart Cullum observed a Cadillac SLS speeding eastbound on Bear Valley Road. When he attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle fled, and a short pursuit ensued.
The driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile, drove recklessly through a residential area, reaching speeds of over 90 miles per hour and crossing over double yellow lines. The pursuit ended on Iroquois Road when the vehicle became disabled. The juvenile was taken into custody without incident. Based on previous contact with law enforcement and the seriousness of this crime, the juvenile was booked into Central Valley Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center on suspicion of evading.
