* At 813 PM CST, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm producing a tornado was located over Laws Hill, or 9 miles southwest of Wall Doxey State Park, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include... New Albany, Bethlehem, Harmontown, Laws Hill, Hickory Flat, Potts Camp, Myrtle, Abbeville, Malone, Shari, Winborn, Blackwater, Waterford, Old Myrtle, Burt, Pumpkin Center, Pine Grove, Spraggins, Cornersville and Smalco.
