KCMO will sound the outdoor tornado warning sirens today at 10 am.
As part of the National Weather Service's tornado drill, KCMO will sound its outdoor tornado warning sirens today at 10:00 am.
With tornado and severe thunderstorm season approaching, KCMO encourages its residents to learn how to stay safe in severe weather.
Remember, the outdoor tornado warning sirens are designed to be heard outdoors. They warn you to take shelter and learn more information from your NOAA all-hazards weather radio, phone app, local media station, etc.
Just because the sirens stop does not mean everything is clear, and a second sounding means that another tornado may be coming.
