INCIDENT: PC 311.1 (A) Possession of Child Pornography

LOCATION: City of Highland

SUSPECT(S): Robert Gomez, 21-year-old, resident of Highland


SUMMARY: Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Highland Station, began an investigation into the downloading and possession of child pornography. Through investigation, it was confirmed that child pornography was downloaded to a residence in the city of Highland.

On Thursday, March 4, 2021, personnel from the Highland Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence on the 7100 block of Argyle Avenue, in the city of Highland. Through investigation, it was determined Robert Gomez was in possession of child pornography. At the conclusion of the investigation, Gomez was arrested for possession of child pornography. Gomez was subsequently booked into Central Detention Center.
