03/02/2021 @ 2229. An unknown suspect smashed the glass door to gain entry and removed a credit card machine from the front desk. #00862

600 block Almont Drive
03/02/2021 @ 1840-2100. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a briefcase containing a laptop computer from the back seat. #00859

8400 block Sunset Blvd
03/03/2021 @ 0830-1030. An unknown suspect removed fire safety equipment and a wallet containing credit cards from the back seat of the unlocked vehicle. #00868

03/03/2021 @ 1840-0713. An unknown suspect removed the tailgate from a 2010 Toyota Tacoma that was parked on the street. #00918

03/03/2021 @ 0547. A man gained access to the apartment complex and searched the sub parking garage for unlocked vehicles and also removed an unsecured scooter. The suspect then went to the mail room and pried open resident mail boxes and removed mail. #00866

03/03/2021 @ 1325. A man pried the front lobby door open to gain access and removed unsecured mail packages from the mail room. #00884

7900 block Norton Avenue
03/03/2021 @ 1628. The victim exited his parked vehicle and was confronted by three armed men who demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby. #00873

8400 block Sunset Blvd
03/03/2021 @ 0830-1130. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and rear cabin window and removed a tool box containing miscellaneous tools from the trunk. #00872

Armed Robbery
1000 block La Brea Avenue
03/04/2021 @ 1743. A man removed an outdoor camera and router from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted near the entrance by an employee, the suspect pulled a handgun from his fanny pack and pointed it at the victim. The suspect was allowed to leave and fled the area on foot. #00895

Other Burglary
900 block N Kings Road
03/05/2021 @ 0037. Two men gained access to the mail room of the apartment complex and used a mail key to unlock an entire wall of resident mail boxes and removed mail. Both suspects also removed unsecured mail packages from the floor of the mail room. #00889
 
Other Burglary
900 block Doheny Drive
03/05/2021 @ 2325. A man used a postal key to unlock the front doors and gain access to the lobby. The suspect used the key to unlock resident mail boxes and removed mail. The suspect was confronted by building security and a struggle ensued, during which the suspect dropped the mail, postal key, and burglary tools and fled the area on foot. #00930
 
Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8200 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/05/2021 @ 2230. A man removed a butter knife from a table and concealed it in his waistband. An employee saw the suspect take the knife and told him to return it. The suspect raised the knife and walked towards the victim but the victim was able to run away. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00912

03/07/2021 @ 0450. A man removed a screen and smashed the kitchen window to gain entry and was climbing into the residence when he was confronted by the homeowner. The suspect fled the area on foot. #00931
