Full Notification

At approximately 3:20 pm, Danville Police were called to the 700 block of Everett Dr on a report of an individual threatening suicide. The subject was in their vehicle and refused to leave, threatening to have a firearm. 

Officers from Danville PD, San Ramon PD, and the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office set up a perimeter around the area and began talking with the subject. 

Shortly after 7pm, the subject voluntarily left their vehicle and surrendered to police custody.  They have been taken in for a mental health evaluation.  No firearm was found at the scene. 

Police are clearing the area at Everett Dr.
