Flood Watch until 01:00PM Sunday

The National Weather Service in Wichita has expanded the

* Flood Watch to include A portion of South Central Kansas, including the following areas, Harper, Kingman and Reno.

* From Friday morning through Sunday afternoon.

* Periodic rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected from late tonight through Sunday. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts.

* Flooding of low-land and flood prone areas are possible, along with modest to significant rises on area rivers and streams.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RENO ... KINGMAN ... HARPER

Instructions:

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
