The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has issued a Fire Weather Watch for low relative humidity and strong winds, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 028 Frederick VA, Fire Weather Zone 050 Hampshire, Fire Weather Zone 055 Hardy, Fire Weather Zone 501 Extreme Western Allegany, Fire Weather Zone 501 Western Grant, Fire Weather Zone 502 Central and Eastern Allegany, Fire Weather Zone 502 Eastern Grant, Fire Weather Zone 503 Western Highland, Fire Weather Zone 503 Western Mineral, Fire Weather Zone 504 Eastern Highland, Fire Weather Zone 504 Eastern Mineral, Fire Weather Zone 505 Western Pendleton and Fire Weather Zone 506 Eastern Pendleton.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent.

* WIND...Gusty northwesterly winds, sustained 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 to 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and dry fuels will promote rapid spread of any uncontrolled fires that develop. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
