Public Works Snow Removal to resume at 2am. Please avoid parking on the streets and remove vehicles to help with the process.
Greetings Wrangell
With significantly more snow on the ground than what had been forecasted, the Public Works Department is asking for your cooperation to get our streets and sidewalks cleared.
Sunday, March 14th Public Works will be starting at 2:00 AM to clear the excess snow.
An effective snow removal program can only be accomplished with the help of our citizens. Residents can help get the roads and sidewalks cleared faster and more effectively by moving parked vehicles off the street.
If your residence does not allow for parking anywhere other than the street, please consider using any of the City facility parking lots, with the exception of the Public Safety Building.
Please do your part by getting as many vehicles off the roadways as possible, so our operators have room to work.
Thank you for your cooperation.
