Street Racer Told To Turn Himself In Before Sundown By SHERIFF VICTOR HILL Now In Custody
The street racer who was told to surrender by sunset or be pursued by the elite Fugitive Squad turned himself in over 2 hours ago at the Clayton County Jail, but with a twist of identity. The brother of Eric Gallegos, 20 year old Oscar Gallegos came into headquarters and admitted that it was him that led Sheriff's Deputies on a high speed chase and not his brother Eric. Not wanting his brother to be hunted for something he did not do, Oscar decided to do the honorable thing and come forward.
Oscar Gallegos fled from Sheriff’s Deputies in the Gray Charger Hell Cat during last night’s street racing sweep. The bumper was knocked off of the Hell Cat by a pitt maneuver executed by the pursing Deputy before the pursuit was terminated.
Oscar Gallegos is now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail better known as “The Hill-ton”.
