Andrew Flores, who is on active felony probation for grand theft, punches a juvenile and steals his skateboard

SUSPECT(S): Andrew Flores, age 21, resident of Fontana
VICTIM(S): 14-year-old and 15-year-old male juveniles
SUMMARY: On Saturday, March 13, 2021, at about 3:18 P.M., Fontana deputies responded to a robbery that just occurred near the intersection of Manzanita Drive and Live Oak Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies learned a 14-year-old juvenile and his 15-year-old friend were walking down the street when they were contacted by Andrew Flores, age 21, a Fontana resident. Flores suddenly grabbed one of the juveniles’ skateboards, threatened to kill him, and punched the victim resulting in a minor injury. Flores fled into his residence on Manzanita Drive. The juveniles found a local resident and asked for help. After multiple Public Address announcements, Flores eventually exited the residence and surrendered. He was found to be on felony formal probation for grand theft in the County of San Bernardino. Following the investigation, Flores was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center for robbery.
