Update: Stabbing 700 block of S Broadway ST. At approximately 8:19 PM the Officers from the Green Bay Police Department were called to the 700 S Broadway ST for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they located two victims. One victim had sheltered at 715 S Broadway ST. with non-life threatening injuries. The other victim was located 800 block of S. Broadway ST. in his vehicle. This victim is a 70-year old male who had been stopped at the railroad crossing for a train. He was transported to a local hospital and later died of his injuries sustained in the stabbing. Officers took the suspect a 22-year-old male in custody in the 800 block of S. Broadway ST. The Green Bay Police Department will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney of first-degree intentional homicide, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and 1st Degree Reckless Injury.

At approximately 8:19pm this evening, Green Bay Police were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Broadway for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located two stab victims that have been transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The Green Bay Police have one male in custody. We do not believe the public is in any danger. The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released on this day.

The 700 block of S. Broadway is currently shut down. The police are asking motorists to avoid the area and use S. Ashland Av for an alternate route.
