Suspect Arrested for Multiple Counts of Lewd Conduct with a Minor
On March 12, 2021, Meridian Police began investigating a report of lewd conduct with a minor. The report was made to the Meridian Police Department by the parents of the victim who was under care at Nature’s Child Care, located in Meridian. Nature’s Child Care has been very cooperative during the investigation. Meridian Detectives developed probable cause that the suspect, twenty (20) year old Brett WILKINSON of Meridian, had inappropriate contact with a child while in his care.
On March 15, 2021, WILKINSON was arrested and transported to Ada County Jail on two (2) counts felony lewd conduct with a minor.
WILKINSON was employed at Nature’s Child Care for less than two (2) weeks. Based on this investigation, officers believe there may be other victims. Detectives have confirmed that WILKINSON was previously employed at a daycare in Eagle, late August to early September 2020.
