The driver fled on foot from the vehicle. Middleton officers along with officers & deputies from the Shorewood Hills Police Department & Dane County Sheriff’s Office quickly established a perimeter. Following a track by the Middleton Police K9 unit, the suspect was located nearby.

Vasquez was subsequently arrested for 4th offense operating while under the influence (OWI), which is a felony. Vasquez was jailed on the tentative charges of OWI 4th and resisting an officer. In addition, Vasquez was cited for operating after suspension of his driver’s license and open intoxicants.
The Middleton Police Department thanks the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Shorewood Hills Police Department for their assistance.
