Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke advises that his deputies responded to a one car traffic crash located on Gumwood Rd near the State Line in Milton Twp. 23 year old, Cherie Clements from Mishawaka, was traveling south on Gumwood Rd. Clements was traveling to fast for conditions and lost control of her vehicle. Clements ran off the roadway right and struck a utility pole. Clements was transported to South Bend Memorial for her injuries. Seatbelt were worn and alcohol was not a factor. Assisting at the scene was SMACS, and Niles Township Fire.
