With consultation from Georgia State Patrol, due to an increase in speeding violations, the speed limit from Horton House on Riverview Drive through to Villas by the Sea Resort & Conference Center on Beachview Drive has been reduced to a maximum speed of 25 miles for public safety.
New speed limit signage with a maximum speed of 10 miles has also been posted on the newly-paved public boat ramp access road.
GSP will continue patrolling these and other areas of the island daily.
