Community COVID -19 Vaccine Opportunity 
Lake County Board Member Judy Martini, in cooperation with the Villages of Fox Lake, Lakemoor, Volo, Grant Township mobilized to answer the need of area seniors and disabled residents by forming a partnership with private medical providers. This group has sleeked additional recourses above and beyond the Lake County AllVax Program to assist in expediting the distribution of this vaccine.
There will be an upcoming pop-up vaccination event at Chapel located 25270 IL-60, Grayslake, IL 60030 on March 25, 2021 with the second dose being administered on April 15, 2021 at the same location.
COVID-19 vaccine is currently being prioritized by the state's department of public health for the following:
* Healthcare Personnel
* Long-Term Care Residents
* Individuals age 65 and older
* Front line essential workers
* Persons with a disability
* Persons with specific health-complicating conditions or status. Eligible conditions: obesity, diabetes, pulmonary diseases, smoking, heart conditions, chronic kidney disease, cancer, solid organ transplant, sickle cell disease or pregnancy.
