Vehicle arson investigation 
On March 20th, 2021, at approximately 1124 hours, Redwood City Police and Fire Department personnel responded to a vehicle fire in the alley behind 3752 Rolison Road. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. Video collected during the initial investigation showed a subject leaving the area immediately prior to the fire being reported.
A Redwood City Fire Department Arson Investigator responded to the scene to conduct follow-up investigation and determined that an accelerant was used to intentionally set the car on fire. The subject pictured was last seen riding his bicycle southbound on Rolision Alley towards Marsh Rd.
The investigation is in its early stages. At this time, there is no information to indicate that this incident was associated to a hate crime.
