Reminder to Lock it or Lose it! Prevent Vehicle Burglaries 
March 24, 2021-Vehicle burglary Lakes of Bliss Woods Subdivision.
The Sugar Grove Police Department is reminding residents to Lock your car doors and close/secure your overhead garage door every night. Last night in Lakes of Bliss Woods subdivision, around 1:15A.M. a vehicle on the driveway was entered (no signs of a forced entry). Offenders were interrupted when a Sugar Grove squad car pulled up to an awaiting stolen SUV in the middle of the block. The offenders quickly returned to the awaiting car and climbed in and took off from the officer. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle as it sped away from the area. Officers returned to the victim’s residence to inform them of the burglary.
Reminder to create a daily routine of DOUBLE checking your car doors and garage door are secured before turning in, will help prevent you from being a victim. Lock it or Lose It!
