NWS Wilmington:
HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts in excess of 60 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of East Central and Southeast Indiana and Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
DTN:
Expect rain from about 2-6pm and then heavier rain and thunderstorms 8pm through midnight. Rain amounts will be about 0.40-0.80" through tonight. Winds for most of today will be light, around 3-10 mph. But after 8pm, southwesterly winds will increase to 10-20 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph. Really strong winds (gusts up to 50 mph) should hold off until after 12am or 1am tonight.
