Watauga County in northwestern North Carolina... Ashe County in northwestern North Carolina... Smyth County in southwestern Virginia... Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia... Western Bland County in southwestern Virginia... Western Wythe County in southwestern Virginia... Western Grayson County in southwestern Virginia...

* At 114 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Glen Burke to near Bakersville, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
