* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 317 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles south of Elon, or 12 miles southwest of Burlington, moving east at 40 mph. This storm has a history of producing quarter size hail. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
