Deputies arrested 23-year-old Anthony Valentine for illegally concealing a firearm

SUSPECT: Anthony Valentine, 23 years old, resident of Needles

SUMMARY:
On March 29, 2021, at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department, conducted a traffic stop in the area of G Street and Third Street in Needles, for a vehicle code violation. The driver, identified as Anthony Valentine, was detained for suspicion of driving with a suspended license. Through further investigation, deputies located a loaded 9mm handgun concealed in Valentine's waistband. Valentine was arrested for PC 25400(A)(3); Illegally Concealing a Firearm and booked at the Colorado River Station Jail on $50,000 bail and is awaiting a court hearing.
