NEW COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS OPEN THROUGH MAY 1; ELIGIBILITY EXPANDS APRIL 5; HOURS FOR VACCINATION CENTER ADDED

More appointments have opened up through May 1 to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the Consolidated Vaccination Center serving Dearborn and six other communities at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.
Appointments must be made at www.cityofdearborn.org/covid.
People who are 18 and older with medical conditions and those 50 and over qualify.
Starting Monday, April 5, those 18 and older can receive a vaccine.
Vaccination appointments are reserved for people who live in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford, Allen Park, Garden City, and Melvindale.
The vaccines are the two-dose Moderna shots.
Starting April 12, the vaccination center will be open 12 hours a day, Monday through Thursday.
