On April 1, 2021 at 3:53 p.m. the Sun Prairie Police Department was dispatched with EMS and Fire to the 600 block of Broadway Drive for a male that was unresponsive behind the wheel of a vehicle. Officers were able to wake up the subject and began to notice signs of impairment. The driver was identified as Malique A Norris. There were two children in his vehicle.

Norris was arrested and booked into the Dane County Jail for OWI 3rd with minor passengers, felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping, operating after revocation and child neglect.

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
