The City of Oneonta has completed the transfer of a portion of the Dietz Street Lot parcel to a developer, Parkview Development & Construction, LLC, for the construction a new 4-story, mixed-use building. The building will include 64 apartment units (40 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom), and the Hartwick Grain Innovation Center, an educational facility to be operated by Hartwick College.
 
Work is expected to begin next week, and a significant portion of the parking lot will be fenced off to make room for construction activities. Refer to the attached map that shows the area of the lot that will be inaccessible.
 
During construction, there will remain 100+ parking spaces available in the northern section of the Dietz Street Lot.
 
Also, in addition to on-street parking, there will remain ample public off-street parking available throughout construction, in the following locations:
 
Municipal Parking Garage – 433 spaces
Wall Street Lot – 44 spaces
Westcott Lot – 49 spaces
