Amber Alert Child Found Safe And Suspect Captured By SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Elite Special Forces!
Last night Clayton County Police issued an Amber Alert for a missing child who was taken by his father. The department released a statement early Sunday morning stating that detectives responded to the 2000 block of Brighton Trail around 8:45 p.m. to reports of a domestic disturbance. While on the scene, officers spoke to the complainant who advised that she went to the location to pick up her son, 8-year-old Djahziah Matthews, from his father, Dwayne Flemings. The child's mother advised the father refused to return the juvenile and sped away with the juvenile in his car at a high rate of speed. She also told police that Flemings had made recent comments suggesting he would kill the child and himself before he would return the child to his mother.
Upon being notified of the incident Sheriff Victor Hill called in his elite Fugitive Squad and Stalking Unit (“Panther”) to hunt for Fleming and to bring the child home safely to his mother for Easter Sunday. Hill’s special forces hunted for Fleming and search for the child through out the night. Around 9 a.m. this morning members of the elite squads located the vehicle Flemings was last spotted driving at an address in Forest Park on Castleton Way. As the Sheriff’s Deputies approached the house, Flemings was just exiting and they took him down without serious incident.
The child has been returned safely to his mother in time to enjoy Easter Sunday, and Fleming is now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail now better known to all as “The Hill-ton”.
Happy Easter Sunday Clayton County!
