Stops Uncovers Narcotics Possession 
SUBJECT: Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Narcotics Arrest

LOCATION: Rt. 35 South in Ocean Township
ACCUSED: Robert W. Alequin 52 year old male of Long Branch, NJ
NARRATIVE: On April 4th, 2021 at approximately 11:45 pm Officer Alicea Angelo was on patrol and located a suspicious vehicle stopped in a driveway to a business. She conducted an investigative stop to check on the welfare of the driver. The driver was identified as Robert W. Alequin of Long Branch. During her investigation, Officer Angelo found that Mr. Alequin was in possession of heroin, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Alequin was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. He was charged accordingly and released on a criminal summons pending an initial court appearance.
