Sugar Grove Yard Waste Collection Begins this week
Yard Waste Collection resumes the week of April 5 and runs through your last refuse pickup in November. Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, trimmings, branches and other material accumulated as the result of the care of lawns, shrubs and trees. Yard waste cannot contain any garbage, litter, rocks, sod or dirt.
Yard waste should be placed at the curb on your normal collection day. All yard waste must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or in a rigid container no larger than 33 gallons, clearly marked “Yard Waste.” Due to leaf decomposition, yard waste cannot be placed in plastic bags or put out for regular waste pickup.
Brush and branches must be in bundles, not to exceed 50 lbs. in weight when full and 4’ in length. Branches may not exceed 2” in diameter. Each bundle must be tied with biodegradable string or twine; no wire.
If you have any questions regarding Yard Waste Collection, please contact LRS (formerly DC Recycling Systems) at 844-633-3577.
