On Sunday, April 4, 2021 around 4:40 p.m. officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Broadway St. Officers arrived on scene and located a victim suffering from a significant gunshot injury. Officers immediately began life saving measures. The victim was transported to NorthBay Medical Center and is currently in Critical Condition, with life threatening injuries.
This was an isolated incident, and not gang related. 18 year-old, James Williams of Fairfield has been identified as a suspect, and the Fairfield Police Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
