Chelsea District Library Building Temporarily Closing Due to COVID-19 Exposure
The Chelsea District Library building is temporarily closed for materials pickup starting Friday, April 9 through Sunday, April 11 following a positive COVID-19 test reported by staff. Materials will be outside for pick up through 5PM today, Thursday, April 8. In the interest of staff and community health and safety, the building is being thoroughly cleaned and library staff are self-isolating during that time. We will reopen for materials pickup on Monday, April 12.
- Items on hold are frozen—you won't lose your hold.
- Our Wi-Fi is accessible outside the building.
- Reference by telephone and email will still be available during normal operating hours.
- Scheduled virtual programs will still take place.
