April 8, 2021 Knowlton Township Coronavirus & Vaccine Update:
The week Warren County is averaging 41 cases per day over the last week, up from 37 cases per day the week before. There are 5 active LTCF outbreaks, though none in Knowlton. Percent positivity remains the same this week at 16.4%. Knowlton Township has had 196 cases with 176 recoveries.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 variants have helped drive NJ’s infection rate to the highest in nation. Variants are tracked on the state’s dashboard and can be seen in the chart below.
35% of the adult population of Warren County has now received one vaccination.
FROM THE STATE:
Beginning April 19, any resident age 16 and older will be eligible for a COVID vaccine. (Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are approved for those 18 and older; Pfizer is approved for those 16 and older.)
