Aaron Weeden of Bloomington was arrested for grand theft

LOCATION: 31200 block of Hampton Rd., Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Aaron Weeden, 26-years-old resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): Cloud 9 Medi Spa
SUMMARY: On February 18, 2021, deputies from the Yucaipa Police Station responded to Cloud 9 Medi Spa regarding the theft of a backflow preventer valve. The theft of the valve created significant damage which prevented the business from opening for the day. The repair costs were estimated to exceed well over $1,000 dollars.
Through investigative leads, deputies identified Aaron Weeden as a person of interest. Weeden was recently arrested for a similar crime in Riverside County. On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Detective Aguirre and Yucaipa MET deputies contacted Weeden, who was on active Post Community Release Supervision, at his residence in Bloomington. At the conclusion of the contact, Weeden was arrested for Grand Theft and transported to the Central Detention Center for booking.
