The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern Weakley County in western Tennessee... East central Dyer County in western Tennessee... Northern Gibson County in western Tennessee... Southeastern Obion County in western Tennessee...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 628 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Newbern, or 13 miles northwest of Trenton, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Martin, Newbern, Dyer, Greenfield, Kenton, Rutherford, Bradford, Sharon, Eaton, Yorkville, Grizzard, Mount Pelia, Good Luck, Lapata, Central, Currie, Barrons Corner, Tyson Store, Edgewood and Sidonia.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DYER, TN ... GIBSON, TN ... OBION, TN ... WEAKLEY, TN

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
