UPDATE: The larceny suspect has been identified and the cellphone has been recovered. Forest City Police Dept. would like to thank everyone for their assistance.

Officers from the Forest City Police Dept. were called to Ingles on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in reference to a larceny of a cell phone. The victim stated that she accidently left her cell phone in the shopping cart when she left the store. Upon returning to the store, she found that someone had taken it. Video surveillance shows an older white male in a red shirt with a multicolor design pick up the phone and leave the area.
