Media Release: Suspect in Custody Thanks to Community Members
UPDATE: Meridian Police have arrested a seventeen (17) year old male from Nampa, Idaho for the stabbing at Wahooz Family Fun Zone on Saturday April 10, 2021. Because the suspect is a minor, his name will not be released. Meridian would like to thank the media and community members for providing information that led to this arrest.

UPDATE: Meridian Detectives have provided two additional photos of the suspect. Meridian Police are diligently working on this investigation and ask that citizens contact the Meridian Police Department by calling 208-846-7300, if they have any further information regarding this crime. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.

Meridian Police Respond to Stabbing and Request Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect
MERIDIAN- The Meridian Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying the male suspect in the attached photos.
On April 10, 2021 at 6:25PM, Meridian Police were dispatched to Wahooz Family Fun Zone, 1385 S. Blue Marlin Ln, for a possible stabbing. Upon arrival it was determined that a 14-year-old male victim was stabbed by an unknown male suspect. The suspect was wearing a black shirt and fled the scene in a black BMW with 2C plates. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for his injuries.
