Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 04/13/2021 at approximately 1450 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of Dutch Settlement St and Glenwood RD, in Wayne Township, Cass County Michigan.  

Investigation shows that 47-year-old, Dowagiac resident, Joe Dilley was at the stop sign at Glenwood RD and Dutch Settlement St and did not clear the intersection. Mr. Dilley then proceeded through the intersection and struck a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was 19-year-old, Decatur resident, Allison Lamoreaux who had minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Bronson Hospital in Paw Paw.  

Seatbelts were worn and both subjects. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. Assisting in this crash was Cass Central Fire, Pride Care EMS, and Pokagon Tribal Police Department.
