On April 13, 2021, at approximately  11:30 am, an officer from the Readington Twp. Police Department stopped Jacobo Garcia, 23, of Union NJ, for failure to maintain lane.  During the traffic stop, Garcia admitted that he was in possession of  marijuana  and paraphernalia used to distribute for the sole purpose to sell.  Garcia was subsequently charged with possession to distribute under 5 pounds. He was summonsed and released.  He was also issued motor vehicle summon(s) for failure to maintain lane.

Filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
