ARMED ROBBERY - ECPD CASE# 2021-00000688 
On April 7th, 2021, at approximately 6:05 pm, El Cerrito Police Department officers responded to the report of an armed robbery. The victim reported walking near San Pablo Ave. and Bayview Avenue when he had his camera ripped from his shoulder from behind by an unknown suspect. The suspect fled with two accomplices westbound onto Bayview Ave. The victim chased after the suspect and his accomplices. As he was running after them, the suspect drew a black handgun, pointed it at the victim and threatened him.
The El Cerrito Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in solving this case. The suspect is the unmasked subject in the photographs.
