The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is once again participating in Drug Take Back Day this Saturday, April 24, 2021.
The public can drop off potentially dangerous prescription medications at collection sites which will adhere to local COVID-19 guidelines and regulations in order to maintain the safety of all participants.
No names, questions, or information will be asked when turning in medication. Simply show up and dispose of your medications at the following locations on April 24, 2021 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Bakersfield Headquarters: 1350 Norris Road
- Kern Valley Substation: 7046 Lake Isabella Blvd
- Ridgecrest Substation: 128 E. Coso Avenue
- Wasco Substation: 748 “F” Street
