The Escondido Police Department is currently investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred this morning in the area of Broadway and 2nd Ave. The media staging location for this incident is at the old H Johnson Furniture building at the corner of 2nd Ave and Maple St. More information on the OIS will be released as it becomes available.
