Lakeport receives Excellence Award in Public Sector Budgeting 
The City of Lakeport received recognition for its Fiscal Year 2020/21 Budget from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) this month. The City received the CSMFO Operating Budget Excellence award for implementing the highest standards and best practices in public sector budgeting.
CSMFO bestows their budget award on California municipalities that achieve the highest standards in city budgeting in terms of the budget documents comprehensiveness and ease of use for decision-makers and community members alike.
